Ipsy October 2013

21 Oct

Hello Beauty

I GOT MY FIRST IPSY BAG!! Ahhhh 😀

I signed up back in August for my birthday and was on the wait-list but i finally am a member now! I was sad i missed Septembers though because it looked like it had some pretty freakin awesome stuff but I’m happy none the less.

My bag contained :

A wet n wild Fergie collection eyeshadow palette in Desert Festival

A Sexy hair blow dry gel

A coastal scents medium shadow brush

LA Fresh face wipes

Zoya nail polish

Now, i love nail polish, addicted to it really, but the three colors they gave out this month weren’t anything too special in my opinion because i have so many like them already. I got the blue one and i must admit it looks much prettier on than in the bottle. So thats good.

I was disappointed that i got face wipes, i mean i can buy them when i go grocery shopping and they are all pretty much the same. But then i read that back of the package where it listed that it contained things like cucumber, aloe vera, vit e and c, and other good things for your face skin. They are not so much ‘makeup remover’ wipes as they are face refreshing wipes and i like that. Theres only ten in a pack though.

I have been wanting a coastal scents brush for Soo long now and this is probably my favorite out of the whole bag. It really does make a difference in how my eyeshadow looks when compared to my ELF brushes. And its so soft!

I wish i didn’t get the blow dry gel because ever since i started using my new shampoo and conditioner (hydra recharge) that Bzzagent sent me, i haven’t needed to blow dry my hair because it dries within 15 minutes now which is quite the feat since i have REALLY long and thick hair. Plus, i have a blood volume problem so whenever i do blow dry my hair, my arms go paralyzed after three minutes. Literally.

The eyeshadow palette is really cool because it has colors i will actually wear. There is a really nice coral color and some browns and tans. One color i even used as highlighter on my cheeks because its my skin color but with a really pretty sheen.

The theme this month was Art of Beauty and the bag was white with pink cursive writing.

All in all, it wasn’t too bad for my first Ipsy bag. But lets hope next month is even better.

Ta ta,
Summer Josephine
